Additional Information

Looking for a farm to start a farm-brewery operation in Massachusetts. Would like to eventually produce apples for cider, cherries for sour beer, honey for mead, and potentially hops & barley for beer. Livestock would be part of the project to help consume the spent grains produced by brewing beer. Ideally this property would have a clean and abundant water supply (well or municipal,) meets electrical requirements for brewing, and either has space for handling waste streams or is tied-in to municipal sewer.

In short, the plan is to side stream all waste from brewing operations: feed the solids to animals for compost, and treat the effluent to be sprayed to the land or used in a greenhouse operation.

The brewery would ideally be built in an existing barn or outbuilding. Onsite sales would be achieved ideally by converting an existing farmhouse or outbuilding to a taproom.
