Additional Information

We are a non farming couple who are offering a farm in Monkton, Addison County, Vermont. It is located halfway between Middlebury and Burlington and on the outer edge of the Champlain Valley. There are plenty of markets close by and the climate is on the milder side for Vermont.

Soil is bottom land, fertile clay and loam with a high organic content and it slopes slightly to the west.  There are very few stones and rocks. The land was a dairy farm and now is used to cultivate vegetables as well as hay and pasture for animals.

A recently dredged pond provides irrigation water and spring fed potable water is also available.  Electricity is available for farm structures.

Land is currently under lease until December 2023 and will be available after that.
