Description of farming experience
During my training at the UVM Farmer Training Program, I managed the 10-acre Catamount Educational Farm, gaining hands-on experience in organic crop production from seed to market. I acquired the entrepreneurial skills necessary to start a sustainable farm business and connected with Vermont's vibrant network of local food advocates. Earning a Certificate in Sustainable Farming from UVM, I am now inspired to take the next step in my farming journey.

Farming practices description
My approach to farming is rooted in a commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable practices. I adhere to certified organic standards, ensuring that the land is nourished without synthetic chemicals or harmful additives. Looking to the future, I plan to implement rotational grazing techniques, utilizing livestock to enhance soil fertility and ecosystem health.
A core part of my philosophy involves the reduction or elimination of fossil fuel use, focusing on renewable energy sources and efficient farming methods. Additionally, I prioritize minimized plastic use, seeking alternatives that reduce waste and align with my vision for a sustainable and responsible farming operation.

More than just a place to grow food, our goal is to evolve into a thriving hub for locally-sourced, organically-grown produce. Additional Information
I am an aspiring farmer with a passion for restoring the land through regenerative agriculture. My dream is to purchase 100+ acres of land, complete with homes, to create a thriving agricultural community.
My Vision:
- Restoring the Land: By implementing regenerative farming practices, I aim to rejuvenate the soil, enhance biodiversity, and create a sustainable ecosystem that gives back to nature.
- A Hub for Aspiring Farmers: I envision a place where other new farmers can start their farming journey. By providing land access and fostering a supportive community, we can grow together and make a positive impact.
- Holistic Approach: My interest extends to agroforestry, silvopasture, and the integration of pasture animals. I believe in a holistic approach that aligns with nature's cycles and promotes overall land health.
I am actively seeking to buy land that aligns with this vision. If you have a property that could become part of this project, I would love to hear from you. Together, we can cultivate a future that nourishes both people and the planet.
