Additional Information

This special piece of land is available for sale or lease. We're looking for a farmer who is willing to get creative with us! Is this you? Some ideas include straight purchase of the 11 acres, purchase of a smaller amount of acreage with long-term free lease of additional acreage (thus bringing your purchase price down), or a lease-to-own scenario. Some owner financing may be available. What ideas do you have? This land can be put into Vermont's current use program. It may be able to be conserved in the future. It can be subdivided (we can do this process for you). It can be built on it various ways. Wastewater/septic capacity has been found to support up to two houses. More details are available. We live on the property next door and are committed to having this 11 acre property stay in farming. We'd like a farmer dedicated to the health of the soil and responsible land use. We are near to and friendly with multiple farmers including Bread and Butter Farm (who hayed for us in 2019). There are many opportunities to share resources and become part of the farming community here in the greater Burlington area. Let's talk and figure out how to make this work for you!
