We would like to see the property remain a working farm. There is great potential to expand on the cheese & raw milk business as well as increasing the overall diversity of the farm with vegetables and additional animals.

We are selling so we can retire & without family interested in continuing as a family farm.

The employee house is not part of the sale but can still be rented by an employee.

Milking cows are now sold, but 29 remaining stock includes bred heifers to milk in the spring. Enough pasture with the sale and & additional adjacent pasture to rent to graze 35 &  more  land can be cleared using pigs, goats, sheep or lama's.   90 acres of additional land is rented in the area for hay prodution.

Additional conventional milk could be purchased locally for increased utilization of the creamery in winter when the cows are on hay, to make a non-organic cheese. Historically, we milked 1 x/day in winter. 

Small pork operation (4 pigs) the last 2 years & 35 laying chickens, eggs, pork and dairy, cull beef sold in our farm store which also could be expanded.

We also did a vegetable CSA in 2018 with potential to expand.
