Additional Information

This family farm used to produce vegetables, and had a farm stand.  It has now fallen out of use, and we are looking for a farmer to use the property and help us keep it managed.

We are open to multiple enterprises.  Used for vegetables in the past, but open to hay as well.   Livestock would be tricky, but we could discuss it.  Could be additional acreage for an established farmer, but we are also happy to see someone farm it and utilize the property for a farmstand, CSA, etc.

Land needs some reclaimation work.  1/3 of the acreage was harrowed and cover cropped in 2018.  The rest has grown up to weeds, but has been mowed.  Any small stumps were removed two years ago.

The property's next-door neighbor has apartments for rent.  She would of course need to do her own interview and vetting, but it means there is likely adjacent housing available for a farmer (or farming couple) who need it.
