We would like to see the property remain a working farm. There is potential to expand on the cheese and raw milk business that we we have started. We are selling so we can retire as we are in our mid 60's & without family interested in continuing as a family farm.

There are several longstanding & very knowledgeable employees that live locally as well as our main man living in the employee house we own.  The employee house is not part of the sale but can still be rented by an employee. 

35 milking cows in mixed herd of Normandy, Jersey & Holstein & approximately 35 young stock. Enough existing pasture to graze 45-50 cows or additional land can be cleared using pigs, goats or lama's.

Small pork operation (4 pigs) the last 2 years & 35 laying chickens, eggs, pork and dairy  cull beef sold in our farm store which also could be expanded.

We also did a vegetable CSA this last year with potential to expand.
