Additional Information

This property was puchased by my father in the mid-1960s and has been a family homestead for 60 years.  The land is beautifully situated below Hazen's Notch, with mountain views and excellent animal habitat.  My father designed and built the house, adapting an 1840s farmhouse.  Our family has had gardens, logged, grown christmas trees, and grown as individuals on this land for decades.  As adult children, we are looking for a farmer to continue this legacy at the site and bring new life to the farm.  We would like to retain much of the land there, but would like to sell/lease/rent to own the house and surrounding acreage.  We also would be very open to collaboration regarding our retained lands (in Vermont Current Use), and would support use for farming purposes.  We are looking for creative, entrepenurial, and grounded people with experience and a clear vision for agricultural and community growth.  Many thanks!
