This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring farmer with substantial experience in intensive vegetable production to establish a viable farm enterprise removing the barrier of substantial capital investment to obtain good farmland close to markets, equipment and affordable housing.  Modeled like an "incubator", lease includes access to 1.5 acres of currently managed vegetable fields, 4 acres of unfenced pasture, a modern one bedroom apartment, barn space, and scale appropriate infrastructure for an intensive market garden.  Infrastructure as listed above.  Veggie fields have been managed organically, (uncertified, but certification is possible) by current tenants for the last 4 years, with a nutrient dense approach to soil fertility.  Pasture is marginal and rocky, but has slowly improved over the last 4 years with rotational grazing of laying hens and small ruminants.
