Land is sloping, sandy loam, bordering wetland. Unique features include a hop yard with room for expansion. No synthetic pesticides or fertilizers have been used since at least 2005.

Neighborhood and community include a nearby alpaca farm and town road works. Walking distance to McCabe Forest, elementary and middle schools, town park, and downtown businesses. Approx. 1 mile to downtown farmers’ market, lumber yard, and hardware store. Convenient to Routes 31, 202, and 9.

Neighbors have been CSA customers and may have interest in purchasing or leasing adjacent portion of land.

The landowner is a dedicated gardener, environmental educator, and advocate of local food and farming with many community connections and willingness to provide consultation and networking.
