The Montagne farm has been family owned and operated for a number of generations. Beautifully situated on Lake Champlain in St. Albans, the farm spans the width of Hathaway Point with access points in St. Albans Bay and Lapans Bay.  We are the next generation of owners in the Montagne family open to work with anyone in search of quality farm land - from aspiring farmers to the most experienced. Formerly a thriving dairy farm, the land has recently been moved into the Vermont Land Trust and certified organic. There are 40 acres of high quality crop land and 40 acres of protected forest.
