200-acre property with all workable soils of statewide importance for farming.  Land has not been used for more than 25 years.  35 acres of fields are currently bushogged or hayed.  165 acres of diverse, mixed, forested land with extensive trail system.  Owner is an organic farmer, not living on the land.  Property will ideally, in time, become a diverse food forest and self-sustaining farm following organic, sustainable, regenerative practices with guidance from the owner.  The land is rolling topography throughout, with very diverse sections of mature softwood stands and open areas.  Access to property is excellent from multiple points.  The land can support many uses including light tourism/camping, silvopasture, grazing, crops and others.  Owner will be planting fruit and nut stands throughout while leaving plenty of room for other crops.  Interested parties should submit conceptual proposals for land use, amount of space required and resume of experience for consideration.  Homesteading is encouraged but not required.  Successful candidate(s) if homesteading will provide their own housing in the form of yurt, mini-home on trailer, camper or similar temporary structure.  Proof of financial stability will be required if approved.  Lease amount is dependent on the amount of land requested as well as labor contribution to management of the land and the owner's plantings.  It is envisioned by the owner that more than one tenant will be leasing land in time.
