There exists a large two-story garage (roughly 30X30) previously used as a barn, and an attached open shed (15X30) that could be use to house animals or store equipment with convenient access to the field. Both could be modified to suit.

Would consider 1-3 year term leases. Prefer leasing house and acreage together, but would consider ground separate leases.
Additional Information

This property is current leased (I tried to set the status of this property to draft, but it still seems to be visible)

This is a generational family property with a long history of farming, but hasn't been in commercial use for several decades. We still have a family member occupying one part of the house, but are now looking for a tenant to occupy the other half. We would love to see the field put to good use, and can be very flexible about how the land is used. It is near several other farms (The largest, Smith's Country Cheese is about a mile down the road) and there are a few other small farms nearby as well.

The field has been mowed once or twice a year for the last 15 years and before that it was mowed frequently, but without any amendments added. At the moment, wild blueberries have spread over a third of it, and there is a small area where asparagus keeps popping up, but we don't have soil information otherwise. There is also a row of four old apple trees. Organic farming is likely possible and would be welcomed, but we haven't taken any steps towards certification. No commercial pesticides or fertilizers have been used in the last 25 years.

The unit can come furnished or partially furnished if you so desire.

The rent for the house and land combined is $1800/mo, with heat is included.
