Additional Information
One of the oldest orchards in Acushnet, dates back to the 1800's. Would like the property to continue as an organically managed farm (no sprays or pesticides). The history on the property is to be appreciated by all and respected, and is a great place for family and community involvement - walking trails are in the back wooded portion.
Abuts 90 acres of conservation land. Very quiet and peaceful. No junk on the property, ready for someone to come and establish themselves.
Six open acres, with one acre in established orchard with 50 older heirloom apple trees. Two open fields, with horse pastures and fencing currently set up, but open to other uses.
Open to many different types of farming, or could even incorporate educational programs. Vegetables, orcharding, and/or livestock welcome (with sustainable stocking density - the amount of animals would need to respect the land and resources).
