Additional Information

The Thompson House is in search of an experienced farmer!

The Thompson House is a combination homestead and restaurant located in Jackson, NH owned and operated by the Fournier family. Chef Jeffrey and Kate purchased the property a little over 7 years ago in order to pursue their passion: serving amazing food made with local ingredients.

The entire property is about 4.8 acres of land with 2.5 acres of it being farmable land. The main building is located towards the front of the property, and consists of the Fournier family’s house and the restaurant; out behind the main building is farmable land, three greenhouses, and a few tool sheds.

Our goal for this project is to bring our farm and gardens back to life; they have been farmed in the past, but they have unfortunately been left unattended for some time. We are hoping to find a farmer who can revamp our land and grow amazing fruits, vegetables, flowers, everything!

We are hoping to work out an unorthodox-style of lease: we would like to find a farmer who is willing to pay us in produce! As a farm-to-table restaurant, we would love the opportunity to serve food grown right here on our property.

If this sounds like your kind of farm, please reach out to Erin at [email protected]
