We are open to various short-term or long-term leases. We are looking for the right person to farm the land in a regenerative, ecologically sensitive way. This is what is most important to us and we look forward to working out the details with a situation that suits both parties.
Additional Information

Timberock is a unique  50 acre property that has been in the same family for close to 100 years. The adjacent 100+acre farm is currently for sale by the family.

It is a scenic land, adjacent to the lake with mature forests and nesting bald eagles.  There are several parcels that are non-forest, including 8-10 acres that have been hayed for a decade or more, and two other parcels that are mowed, about 1-3 acres each.  There is plenty of space for the farmer (or couple) in addition to workers/interns to live on the property.

However there is not much infrastructure at this time such as fencing or barn for tractor or packing etc.

We are looking to work with an experienced farmer who wants to work to build healthy soil using regenerative practices such as cover cropping, composting, minimal tillage etc while working within and enhancing the existing ecosystem.

We are open to integrated use of the land such as annual vegetable and flower production, animal grazing, orchards, apiary, mushroom cultivation and beyond.

With the right situation we are willing to put capital towards infrastructure such as fencing, irrigation/water tanks, greenhouses, outbuildings etc.

We know there are many people who would like the opportunity to be on a piece of land earning a living in community and providing good food. Let us know if this sounds like something you are looking for.
