Additional Information

Zion Hill Farm Preserve is a 192 acre property bordering the Quinebaug River in Preston, CT. It has been family owned for over 50 years. Currently we have a maple syrup operation, nine bee hives, and 27 acres of cropland that is being hayed. About 30 acres were previously being managed as a permaculture operation and about 15 of them could be managed as certified organic. The land has a well established trail system that provides acess to most of the property. Immediatley adjacent to the described property is a related ten acre farm with a small barn, ten alpacas, and two donkeys, as well as a recently installed 7.2 kW solar tracking system. This property could also be available for use. We are dedicated on preserving this land for agricultural and open space use and are actively pursuing a conservation easement.
